In early 2020, Elaine Alberto opened the doors of Gravitas Medspa in Beverly Hills. It is then when her journey and love for medical esthetics flourished and discovered her passion for helping her clients achieve beautiful and healthy skin all while gaining self-confidence. From its inception, Elaine has been the driving force for Gravitas Medspa’s overall operation, including sales and marketing efforts. She has a great deal of knowledge in specializing treatments and products to each individual’s needs.
FWM: Tell us about your background and what led you to launch the Gravitas Medspa in Beverly Hills.
I am an experienced Registered Nurse and my passion into beauty has led me to open up Gravitas Medspa in Beverly Hills. All I know is that I wanted to help people not only look beautiful but also feel good at the same time. Yet, little did I know this would lead me towards the journey of becoming an aesthetic nurse. I know I want to do more and be able to customize skincare treatments that give an instant result. From this moment, I decided to go back to school while working full time until I completed the hours to take the board exam and when I received my esthetician license, I knew that it was just the beginning of a beautiful journey. Helping people look their best and improve their confidence is a joy that I feel whenever I see my clients very happy with the result of my customized treatments.
FWM: How does the Gravitas Medspa provide VIP treatment to its clients?
All of the clients that comes through the door of Gravitas Medspa are all given the same VIP treatment. Everyone deserved the best pampering experience and that’s what they kept coming back. As promised, we are here for all of our clients that are seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

With the telework schedule, virtual or zoom meetings, our makeup routine has dwindled over the year. Instead of a heavy makeup and lots of contouring, people are now looking for a more “naturally glowing skin”. So, skincare treatments and products that will help achieve a glowing skin will be the trends that will dominate the beauty business. Being beautiful in their own skin will be everyone’s goal. And I am so happy to have created skincare treatments at Gravitas Medspa that gives you a glowing skin after just one treatment.
FWM: What do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy hearing my clients tell me that they’ve never felt so good and confident about themselves since they achieved a beautiful skin after the care and treatments they received from us. It’s like a soothing music that always plays in my ears and rocks me like a baby. And the best part of it all, is gaining new friends from them.
