Global executive turned entrepreneur Kisha Tyrrell announced that she has developed and has launched a lifestyle brand that is rooted in Bermuda but will have indispensable global reach and appeal; much like her own professional and personal journey.
FWM: You have been celebrated for your work in Global Finance, How did you transition from the corporate sector to launching a luxury skincare brand?
It was more of a steep learning curve than a smooth transition. Yet, I have been able to implement a lot of my professional experience while growing Enzuri. Working in the corporate sector has taught me a lot; most importantly the constant reminder that relationships matter. While I knew I would have to equip myself with the knowledge to understand all parts of the company, I sought individuals that posses the skillset to contribute to Enzuri’s growth and long-term success.
Skincare has always been a priority for me. Often times it’s been an escape from the demands of business, so my love and appreciation of quality products has always existed. Yet, I also noticed what the market was missing and how Enzuri Beauty would provide a need for myself and others.
FWM: Enzuri Beauty focuses on fusing science and natural ingredients. Tell us about your products and Why they are unique?
One fact we should all be able to agree upon is that no 2 skin-types are the same. Even if individuals share similarities each individuals skin is unique. This understanding played a major role in the development of our products. By fusing natural & wildcrafted ingredients from all over the globe with some of the world’s best chemists and skincare specialists we were able to set out and accomplished our goal of creating a range of products that heal and improve all skin types.
FWM: How are you teaching women to think differently about taking care of their skin?
Our lives are busy and full of ever growing responsibilities, a constant cycle of what can seem like a never-ending to-do list. Enzuri Beauty was created to remind women that it’s o to pause and take care of you— in fact, it’s necessary. So often self-care is referred to as a luxury when in fact self-care is a necessity. I want women to prioritize themselves. To know that whether they’re in a spa for a 4 hour service or home in their ensuites with just 20 minutes of alone time — our skin deserves the best. We deserve the best.
FWM: What challenges have you faced with skincare?
Lifestyle choices. From early on my mother shared and poured the importance of taking care of my skin. However as life happens, at times we get so caught up with the constant moving that we forget to implement the ideals that were fixed upon us. For me, as time went and life got busier, eating habits and lifestyle changes started to show in my skin. That was my big reminder that I needed to go back to the drawing board and that’s something I’ve worked extremely hard to ensure our customer base understands as well. Skincare is about so much more than the products you choose to use and ENZURI Beauty is so much more than a skincare collection. Our mission is to encourage and support wellness from the inside out. A combination of our clean skin care collection and healthy lifestyle habits make sure overall success.
FWM: Share your mantra.
Beautiful skin is a lifestyle. or If you don’t ask you will never know (closed mouths don’t get fed).
FWM: Do you have a favorite product?
If I had to pick one, it would have to be one of the Serums. The Serums are brimming with ingredients that benefit all skintypes. In particular, Faith Night serum has a gentle retinoid with antioxidants to safeguard the skin overnight when skin is best able to repair and regenerate itself.
FWM: What have you learned as an entrepreneur of a beauty brand?
I have envisioned what Enzuri Beauty will become and in order to make that happen I have had to learn a lot. But what I have learned most is learning how to ask for help.
