Lauren Barrett, Founder of Ardor “Your Passionate Marketing, PR and Advertising Firm”

Lauren Barrett is the owner of a MarTech (Marketing and Tech company) Ardor, servicing globally. She started her company at 22 years old, during one of the country’s biggest pandemics COVID-19 where she was able to have her first client’s business have their most profitable quarter yet. She has been featured and recognized as an Inspirational Phenomenal Woman by I.P.W. Magazine 2021.

Ardor is a Chicago-based branding and social media marketing agency. Ardor derives from the English Dictionary meaning to have passion, thus where we bring our “passionate” marketing to your business. Prior to the creation of Ardor Marketing, the founder was working in multiple Fortune 500 companies, and doing freelance marketing work for years in different industries-beauty, tech, attorneys, real estate..etc. Her company gives a percentage of monthly/yearly profits to nonprofits around the Chicago land area giving back to women and children. 

FWM: You are a strategic partner within multiple tech startups. Share your background. 

My background has gone from being a paralegal at an immigration law firm, sales representative for a marketing agency, operations manager of a men’s health and wellness product/start-up skincare company, and finally marketing assistant at Morgan Stanley and State Farm. During all these job opportunities I worked on building my network of business owners, and overall entrepreneurs. From working in all of these different niches of business I was able to learn a handful of software systems, languages in the financial, law, medical, and overall business fields. This helped me further my knowledge in analytical skills. 

FWM: Tell us about Ardor and the importance of the name.

Ardor is from the English dictionary meaning to have passion and enthusiasm. We are a marketing and technology company that serves the balance between showing up authentically while being in a digital world. How we do this is by going into our client’s offices, meeting with them, going through their goals, figuring out where they are at now, and how they can get to where they want to be. 

At Ardor, we have adopted a popular and effective 4-step approach toward enhancing our clients’ marketing campaigns. In other words, we implement the necessary strategies to deliver the best possible results. 

FOCUS 

This first step involves targeting audiences we need to reach, researching which channels are best to communicate with them, and formulating messages that will catch their eye. 

DELIVER 

After discovering what the goals of our clients’ campaigns are, we then provide our services and success-proven tactics to ultimately achieve them. 

MEASURING 

While our services are in motion, we measure how our campaign’s performance is. 

ENHANCE 

Through these constant measurements, we use our data to consistently make adjustments to ultimately enhance the overall campaign. 

FWM: During this incredibly challenging time you were able to have your first clients’ business accomplish their most profitable quarter yet. Share your strengths and the story behind this win. 

When I first started really learning about businesses, a term that stuck out to me was Return On Investment. In almost everything, I do in life business or not. I ask myself am I getting a return on investment? Is my client? How can I get someone in their doors or website? Having that consistently in the back of my head gave me the…. FINISH this part. 

FWM: What are some of the challenges clients are facing today and how are you solving them? 

Some of the challenges clients are facing today is figuring out how to get in front of their audience, who is their audience, and how much money they need to invest to get in front of their audience. The answer is a

FWM: You were named as an Inspirational Phenomenal Woman by I.P.W. Magazine in 2021. How are you inspiring others? 

It’s weird to think that I’m inspiring other women when really all I’m doing most of the time is sharing my journey. I genuinely want anyone who I have an interaction with to be their best selves. 

FWM: Share a few client success stories. 

We helped a medspa go from 5 patients a month to 40-50 patients in a month, within a three-month period. 

An e-commerce brand of quilting washers needed paid ad work done, in a month of management they had 4,200 sales. We ran only two ad sets, with a total ad spend per day of $60-$80. 

Our paid ad campaigns brought them 11 dental implant cases/patients, which brought in total revenue of $60,000-80,000 in just half of the month. This client is projected to receive at least five more by the end of the month, as well. 

FWM: What is your vision for 2022?

My vision for 2022 is to double our profits, double clients, and team members. We also are looking to expand internationally. Along with creating a “sister” company to Ardor which will be focused more on influencers and model management campaigns!
