This past season was her first and she quickly became a fan favorite (recently being the #8 trending topic on twitter!!). Sutton Stracke is the newest cast member on the Beverly Hills Housewives. She is a Party planning maven and hostess extraordinaire, she brings to life SUTTON, a concept store, to share her love of art, fashion, design, and more in West Hollywood, CA. FWM: You are a “True Southern Girl,” and the newest cast member of the Housewives of Beverly Hills. What surprised you the most when joining the cast?
I think getting to know the ladies this year was a challenge, but a challenge that had so many benefits. I was surprised to learn all of the businesses and other jobs these girls have, and it was quite impressive on all of us who are also raising families.
FWM: You have always had a love for the arts. What led you to launch “SUTTON”
boutique in West Hollywood?
I have wanted to open a boutique for over ten years, and I finally did it. It was a year long process to work on from branding, buying, construction, and planning to opening. It was stressful but so fun.

FWM: This is the first anniversary of your boutique. What have been the
favorites?
We carry hard to find if not unique pieces. Designers include Alexis Mabille, Monica
Mahoney, Amber Sakai, and other LA designers. We also have jewelry from Amedeo
Jewelry, SDK Jewelry and Amber Erin Jewelry. We also have visual artists that rotate in and out, cool vintage home accessories and furniture.
FWM: What do you enjoy most about couture?
My love of couture definitely began from my days as a dancer. I loved the costume fittings, the intricacy of the costumes, and the fantasy that costumes create. I also love couture shows – any of the Dolce and Gabbana Alta Moda shows. It is an experience not a show. Dior Couture was a good one, Raf Simons first show. The clothes were amazing and the walls were all covered in live flowers in every room. Any Jean Paul Gaultier show. It’s my favorite moment of fashion week every year. Chanel Couture is always beautiful and surreal.
FWM: The holidays are around the corner, share your favorite gifts from SUTTON.
We have a whole line of Sutton branded merchandise such as aprons and cups. I love the Hunter boots in Naughty and Nice. I think any of our jewelry would make a great gift as well as the skincare line by Retrouve that we sell.
FWM: How important is giving back?
I recently donated to No Kid Hungry, an organization that I became familiar with during the epidemic. I will also be volunteering with my own kids at the Los Angeles Mission. I have also given to several dancers who have been creating new ways to make dance
