You are a global marketer helping brands go from presence to profit. Where did this all begin for you?

As a global marketer focused on helping brands go from presence to profit, it is my mission to help every person realize and unlock their true potential. I believe that everyone has a powerful message that can help impact the world and coupled with cutting-edge tools and technology, one can help accelerate this process through omnipresence. Every individual has an expertise, experience, knowledge, know-how, ideas, programs, services, and even a hobby that can be captured through amazing content and published to multiple platforms in order to impact others. When someone has a powerful message, life-changing expertise or deep understanding of a hot topic, I empower them by teaching them to turn this wisdom into purpose-driven income streams online. What better than to turn their presence into profit leveraging their own knowledge.

I have always been curious. As a girl born in the previous Soviet Union country called Estonia this need to know why things are happening, why we make decisions as we do and why we tend to follow the crowd rather than lead them, got me many times in trouble, because the society knew only one way of talking, walking and behaving. So I did not fit in. I was different. I was outspoken, I did things differently rather than just focusing to make them better than others. I asked questions and I learned that when you ask better questions you get better answers. Today the secret of marketing is to know who are you serving, what problem or desire are you helping to solve or fulfill, and why are you doing this. So back in 2000, I decided to enter the real estate industry and very quickly understood that even though in real estate the location is the key to success you need to know how to stand out, what is the added value that you bring to the table that no one else does and what is your unique sales point. That provoked me to study business administration specializing in marketing at university. Fast forward this has been my passion for the last 2 decades, to help business owners to go from presence to profit. Your message has the ability to change someone’s life. The impact that the right message can have on someone at the right time in their life is immeasurable. It could help change someone’s health, grow a company, save marriages, repair families, or much more. But only if you know how to get it into the hands of the people whose lives you have been called to change.

My role as the global marketer is to help my clients to find their voice and give them the confidence to become a leader. I have been showing them how to build mass movements of people whose lives they can affect. I have been teaching, advocating, and empowering my clients how to make their calling a career, where people will pay them for their advice. 

As a leader in developing and implementing sales and business plans, what are the trends of today? 

Digitalization, the new generation of entrepreneurs, Online presence, omnipresence, cutting-edge technology integration to mention some. 

If you ask what are the trends that I follow as an entrepreneur or where my focus is then pay attention to the following suggestions. 

Leveraging technology for good and to deliver impact is a rising trend. Using AI powered solutions for business transformation and to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace is an interesting trend. I came across a company, Predixa D&I, https://www.predixa.ai/. They support organizations to assess where a company is with its Diversity and Inclusion journey providing D&I and HR leaders with data and analytics linked to business and an action plan with priorities that they can address. This changes the dynamic to one that is data and insights driven, empowering leaders with the right metrics to move forward with concrete actions, delivering progress on diversity and inclusion and other business issues.

Another trend is the rising consciousness about sustainability and the need for collective action and partnerships to build back better post- pandemic and for a resilient recovery.

Women will dominate the decade, women’s leadership is gaining momentum more than ever with great examples during the pandemic of women leading better not only by effectively managing the crisis but also through empathetic leadership. the rise of emotional intelligence in all levels of leadership. The crisis sparked a wave of innovation and launched a generation of entrepreneurs. As Plato said it: “Necessity is indeed the mother of invention.”

The area that has seen tremendous growth is digitization, meaning everything from online customer service to remote working to supply-chain reinvention to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to improve operations. Healthcare, as well, has changed substantially, with telehealth and biopharma coming into their own. This type of disruption created space for entrepreneurs—and that’s what is happening in major economies of the world and in the United States, in particular. I believe that nobody really saw it coming. There is a veritable flood of new small businesses. In the third quarter of 2020 alone, there were more than 1.5 million new-business applications in the United States—almost double the figure for the same period in 2019. Yes, many of those businesses are single-person establishments that could well stay that way—think of the restaurant chef turned caterer or the recent college graduate with a cool new app. So it’s intriguing that the volume of “high-propensity-business applications” (those that are likeliest to turn into businesses with payrolls) has also risen strongly—more than 50 percent compared with 2019. Venture-capital activity dipped only slightly in the first half of 2020.

Digitally enabled productivity gains accelerate the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The unbelievable acceleration in the use of technology, digitization, and new forms of working is going to be sustained. This is the new reality. There’s no going back. Speaking to many executives they say that they moved 20 to 25 times faster than they thought possible. Especially on things like building supply-chain redundancies, improving data security, and increasing the use of advanced technologies in operations. On a very positive note, in the past, it has taken a decade or longer for game-changing technologies to evolve from cool new things to productivity drivers. The transition is sped up in areas such as AI and digitization by several years, and the fastest in Asia. as much as 80 percent of their customer interactions is conducted digitally. Let’s see some examples like consumer industries, and particularly for retail, that means improving digital and omni channel business models. Another example is healthcare, it’s about establishing virtual options as a norm. For insurance, it’s about personalizing the customer experience. And for semiconductors, it’s about identifying and investing in next-generation products. For everyone else there is an urgent need to invest in capability building.

Much more importantly is private equity (PE). Globally, PE firms are sitting on almost $1.5 trillion of “dry powder”—unallocated capital that’s ready to be invested. On the other hand, global fundraising has stayed strong—$348.5 billion through September 2020, on par with the previous five years—and deal making in Asia has more than doubled. The PE industry has a reputation of zigging when others are zagging, making deals in difficult times. It has history on its side: returns on PE investments made during global downturns tend to be higher than in the good times. Put it all together, and we don’t think the PE industry is going to keep its powder dry for much longer; there are simply going to be too many new investment opportunities.

So I work with people to create a map that will allow them to turn their specialized knowledge, talents, and abilities into a business that will work for them! This is one of the shortcuts of the new rich if you are willing to take action and work for it. 

One success story that comes to mind is an international woman entrepreneur network founder who has a passion for helping people succeed in leadership and entrepreneurial strength. In many ways, I have facilitated platforms for her to reach more people from the honor of being a chapter President in the World Women Conference and Awards organization from being featured as a platinum member on the Starpreneurs TV network. Not only is she being featured with her own ongoing TV shows on Roku and Amazon Fire TV, but she has also empowered other content creators to be featured on her custom-branded TV playlists. FWM: You are on several nonprofit boards. How important is giving back to you? 

To infuse profit with a sense of purpose is something that humans naturally seek. But let me introduce you to another viewpoint on giving back.  Giving a gift and expecting a return is not a gift at all. It’s an exchange. What makes giving a move that’s so wonderful that it borders on the mystical is the intention with which you give it. And if you want something back, you pollute the beauty of the present that you are giving. Just the other day I read the words of the illustrious Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. He used the term “benevolent”, which finally landed on my spirit in a way that I’ve long prayed it would. I got it. As a felt knowing versus as an intellectualized understanding. To be a benevolent person or leader, producer, creator, performer is to do what you do in purity. For the right reasons. In high integrity. Only for the good of other people. I’m not saying there’s something wrong with also doing good for yourself. Self-love is an essential ritual. And win-win is a great game to play. And yet, you’ll ascend into the heavens of your greatest nature, finest nobility and most honorable heroism when you give for the sake of giving. Not getting. 

I believe that my acute awareness throughout the years has provided me with the ability to contribute with my heart and soul to helping everyone I meet. My insight of working in many countries has built bridges of communication strengthening initiatives between women and local and state government. As mentioned I was born into a country under the control of the Soviet Union, where there was no civil rights. The impact of my childhood has set a solid foundation on my quest for women empowerment in education, health and civil rights. My courage is always present in every step of my life, always building teams of loyal woman that champion and help the less fortunate girls and women. My strength and inspiration is powered by the energy and accomplished of every women I help. My firm commitment of achieving empowerment through education is key to Obtaining gender equality. My involvement with university students in Mexico has inspired many to participate in multiplying the gender equality movement.

I am working with kids who have health challenges such as the need for heart surgeries. With over 100 surgeries in last 24 months, we have changed the life of 100 families. 100 women that had lost hope and now have a healthy kid with a strong heart and an amazing future. 

My passion is to help Women and my energy is the beat of my heart and soul in every action I set forth. I am also a proud member of Ancestral Nations A.c. Cannativo movement of indigenous hands, with this movement we are developing the sustainable ecosystems within the indigenous communities of Mexico hand in hand with the native tribes of Baja California Sur.  

Today, I have built global partnerships with the vision of establishing local chapters in Estonia, USA and Mexico that promote and accomplish gender equality and empowerment. 

And finally, my legacy to this world is UNTOLD STORY Foundation (USF). It is a global family of women in Action for A BETTER SOCIETY! We are a social service oriented organization whose mission is to bring together women leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. USF will serve as a resource and a voice for its community; seeking to improve the lives of women and girls worldwide, especially in the areas of education, the environment, health, hunger & malnutrition and the human rights; advocating for the rights of women and girls all over the world; contributing to the global community through its Chapters and Online community, which will constantly provide development funds, education and awards. When caring women join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s the most beautiful thing to happen to society—and a fulfilling moment for every woman involved. That’s the society’s heart cry, that women will arise and take up their roles as Incubators of Life and release life into the world. Being a woman is about playing the mother role across all spheres of the society leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through love and giving.
