Lauren Blake is a French and American model and influencer who is based out of Los Angeles. Lauren traveled the world visiting 22 countries and amassing three quarters of a million Instagram followers watching her adventures. A new found passion arose in Lauren, sparking her to take a risk and pursue a different career path towards her love of travel, hosting, and content creation. She now has her own travel show on OFTV featuring the most exclusive, expensive, and Instagrammable resorts in the world with destinations including Africa, Maldives, Dubai, and many more.
FWM: You are a successful model and influencer. Share your backstory.
If I told my younger self I would be where I am today, I wouldn’t believe it! I was always on path to become a doctor, working in hospitals and volunteering in medical offices. I graduated with an honors degree in Biochemistry and did modeling jobs on the side to help pay for my education. Through modeling and posting on Instagram, I found a new passion for creating content. My social media audience began to grow by the hundreds of thousands and along with it, brand deals and partnerships. I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my passion for content creation. Hard work and dedication to it opened so many doors and allowed me to create a career for myself traveling and doing what I love while maintaining my freedom.
FWM: Tell us about the exciting places that you have traveled.
Traveling is my absolute favorite! Some of the coolest places and things I’ve done would be snowmobiling through vast glaciers in Iceland, climbing the Christ the Redeemer statue that sits atop a mountain in Rio de Janeiro in brazil, hiking to find gorillas in the impenetrable forest of Uganda, biking through the French countryside, going on safari on the Serengeti in Tanzania, finding hidden temples in Bali, swimming with pigs and sharks in the Bahamas, riding ATVs in the red sand desert in Dubai, drinking beer with monks in the Czech Republic, sailing down the Amalfi Coast of Italy, and many more!
FWM: People love your Instagram. How do you create fresh content for your followers? Any tips for others?
Keeping your content fresh is the key. I take time to plan shots and coordinate looks to keep my content exciting and captivating. I would suggest switching up the style of posts and not being afraid to get creative or letting the place or object be the focus of the photo rather than yourself.
FWM: Tell us about travel show OFTV.
My show on OFTV is “Travel with Lauren” where I take you around the world and showcase some of the most amazing hotels and cities. Some places featured are the giraffe hotel in Kenya, $30,000 a night overwater bungalows in the Maldives, 10,000 sqft penthouses in Dubai, the Palace of Versailles in Paris, swimming with pigs and sharks in the Bahamas, etc. I truly enjoy showing these places and cities to hopefully inspire others to get out and explore the world as well!
FWM: What exciting adventures do you have coming up?
Exciting upcoming adventures will most likely be exploring Thailand and now Australia! I will be posting lots of content on my Instagram as well as my onlyfans and OFTV episodes about it!
FWM: Your modeling and influence has led you to many successful collaborations. Tell us more.
Modeling and influencer work has opened an enormous amount of doors for me. I have worked with some of the top brands in each industry as well as celebrity photographers, stylists, and more. I have also accumulated 6 magazine covers and recently launched a designer shoe line in collaboration with Lenny Lu. The success that has come from me risking it all and taking a path to follow my passion has made me feel so incredibly grateful every single day.
FWM: What’s next?
My next project is launching my electrolyte powder line which should be live by January 2022! I have been working for months to ensure the perfect formulation for taste and function and I cannot wait to share it with the world!
