Nicolene is a multi-faceted self-made millionaire and has grown from the ground up. A mom of 3 and the owner to 7 different businesses, Nicolene strives to live her best life full of energy and passion doing everything she loves.
She enjoys the little things in life and has built herself an empire by knowing what she wants and planning out carefully how she is going to get it. She started her first business with her husband from her garage and has since grown it to a multi-million dollar business. Throughout the past 14 years they have started several other businesses from within their first business and created new income streams to stream into their home. In late 2016 she decided to try something new and start a coffee shop.
Within 2 months she opened 3 branches and by the end of their first year she was running and managing 5 branches successfully. Nicolene wanted her brand to impact millions, so she created her own franchise model and expanded her business across the country. Today, she has grown this little empire to over 31 locations and aims to continue to grow even more over the next few months.
Throughout the past 14 years she has created over 11 income streams into their home and has an extremely broad spectrum of business experience. Her business varies from accounting, to imports and exports, local security product distribution, a coffee shop franchise, a burger restaurant franchise and her online business coaching and mentoring. She believes in creating wealth and has generated hundreds of thousands through their Airbnb, property rentals and starting other businesses with partners. Her current passion is to coach and mentor ambitious small business owners who are ready to step up into their CEO position and expand their own businesses across the country.
FWM: You built an empire by knowing what you want and planning out carefully how you were going to get it. Share your background.
After working on cruise liners for over 4 years and traveling the world, I realized how many opportunities there are to do what you want with your life, you just needed to go after it. When we started our first business, we did it from our garage as funds were very limited. But we had a goal to move fast, work hard and not stay in that garage.
During the past 14 years, we have always grown from one level to the next, because I have always wanted to create my own financial freedom. Being free from debt and having multiple income streams was a source of security to me.
Today, I have several different businesses and have created 11 income streams. My passion comes from creating something from scratch and bringing it to live. Then, automating it, so the business scan run without me and stepping back.
This is a passion I have had since I can remember and passing this on to other ambitious women, is now a dream come true.
My experience covers all elements of business. From starting, growing, expanding and franchising. How to automate, delegate and step outside of the business, so you business show to run successfully without you.
Team building, opening multiple locations, partnerships and online businesses are just a few ways I have helped to create our family’s foundation for future growth. I sell from the heart. I believe in offer clients what they need most and making it their chose whether they want it or not. Running an honest business is key and my most important element today is having fun each day, while you make millions. I value my time far more than money, and this is has allowed me to think bigger and bolder for my businesses than ever before.
FWM: How important is it have a diversified portfolio?
I believe in doing what you love or at least finding the joy inside of your working tasks to make the journey of being an entrepreneur more enjoyable. Being the boss is not easy, so having multiple spaces that generate you money, allows you to think in many different ways, instead of just one direction.
I love diversity and it keeps life interesting. But that is me. I do believe most entrepreneurs have more than one dream or passion, yet they feel stuck or limited in what they thin they can manage or accomplish. Start with one, make it come to life, automate it and then create something new. Do not be shared to try something, whether its with a friend or by yourself, life is full of surprises.
When you create different revenue streams, businesses, or opportunities for yourself to build your empire, it changes how you look at life, how you see opportunities and how you act towards change. Playing it save and staying always in the same pattern, will limit you to ever see if you are able to reach the dreams you have
FWM: Throughout the past 14 years you have created over 11 income streams into
your home and have an extremely broad spectrum of business experience. Tell us more.
Our first business, which is our biggest business currently, is our security imports and distribution business. With sole right of national distribution, we have built a beautiful business with a massive mission to change the security industry in our country. However, through the past 14 years, each 2-3 years, I would get a swift of energy, to create something new, that would either benefit one of our businesses, or just become part of our portfolio.
We have since created an accounting firm, an Imports and exports business, a salon, a coffee shop franchise, a burger restaurant, and a HR partnership business. And on top of that, I have now created my own online coaching platform to help franchises expand to millions.
I have built massive team and have some businesses that are completed automated and runs without me. Some revenue streams are generated through property, partnerships, rentals, Airbnb, courses, and programs, and more.
I have learnt through the past few years how to grow from nothing, how to close a business because it was not profitable and still learn from it to move forward fast. Learning from my mistakes is something I have had to learn how to do, as the entrepreneurial journey is not always easy.
Another massive golden nugget to share is that having people in your life who are also on their journey to building their empire will create a space of support, accountability, and connection, which are all very needed as a business owner
FWM: What challenges did you face when building your empire?
Oh, many different interesting challenges and some I would not wish on anyone. We have had people steal hundreds of thousands from us, lies cheat and stab us in the back. We have had mindset challenges throughout the years, because when your business does well, it’s easy to stay positive, but it’s during the hard times, when you have no sales, when you a loose a big client or when your shipment gets lost at sea, when your mental strength is truly tested.
We import, so currency exchange is a massive challenge and something you must live with on a daily basis. There has also been challenges with family and friends along our journey, who found it hard to support, or understand our journey and we have had to follow our own way to reach success.
Feeling like you have hit rock bottom, is probably a hard one for most of us and when we ever felt that we couldn’t go lower, we always found a way to look at it, as a new starting point, and that any growth is better than where we were the day before. I remember us making one sale in our first week and then two sales the week after. In our third week we made 5 sales and we thought we hit the jackpot.
Challenges will always be part of your journey, it’s how prepared you can be that helps to lessen the hit and helps you get up faster every time.
FWM: How are you helping others become millionaires through your coaching program?
When you want to grow your business, you need to have the foundations in place first. So, we focus on profitability first, structure, team and what expansion options you have. I also help my clients create multiple income streams to relieve the pressure for one main revenue stream to bring in all the money.
I help my clients understand their full potential, think outside the box and see opportunities that they deserve to go after. We simply business, doing less of the things that take our time and more of the things that bring in massive results and business wealth.
I offer different programs, mastermind, and one on one coaching packages for my clients. It all depends on where you are on your journey and what your next level goal is. Inside my mastermind, Multiply to Millions, we focus on creating multiple income streams that suit your business and life and attracting more of your ideal client to your business. Charging your worth and expanding so you can work less, but increase your revenue.
Most of my clients prefer to combine their coaching with personal one on one time. This is for more personal connection, accountability, support, brainstorming and fast implementation. My clients do not want to be in the same place next year. They want to evolve, grow and step into their full CEO role.

FWM: What are the main questions to ask if a business is ready to franchise?
Are you ready to share your business model with others and do you want to serves thousands of customers every day. This might sound funny, but many business owners do not. I wanted to share my business model with aspiring entrepreneurs who have always dreamed of owning their own coffee shop. This way, they get to do it with me and not on their own.
Your business must be profitable, be structured and have systems in place to automate the processes more easily, however, even if you do not have them in place now, I can show you how to get these ready.
Another big one, is why! Why do you want to expand, franchise and grow to millions? This might sound strange, but there must be more to business growth than just making more money. There are many others, like being registered, getting your manuals in order etc. Starting off with why you want to expand, share and grow to impact thousands of lives each day, because if you want something badly enough, you will find a way to make it happen.

Surround yourself with people who have achieved what you want in life. It’s very hard to stay positive, believe in reaching your next level or doing what seems impossible, when no one around you knows how to support or help you.
Allow yourself to fail, it’s the fastest way to learn and the action you take keeps the momentum in your business which is needed to reach your next level. Do not compare yourself, look to others for inspiration and go after what you dream of. No one will give it to you, so make it happen for yourself.
I believe everything is possible, and that there must be a way to achieve what you want, you just need to figure out the small steps to get there. Hint…go to the person who has achieved what you want and learn from them!
