FWM: Have you always wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Yes, I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Even in elementary school when we had sales contests for things like most magazines sold, I sold the most out of my entire school! Early on in my career I started an event production company and got some amazing opportunities in LA to manage some very prestigious events. During that time, I was heavily involved in the fitness modeling and bodybuilding world which led me into coaching and nutrition consultation and new business ventures in that area. After juggling corporate America and my health coaching careers, I decided about 8 years ago I really wanted to control my own destiny full- time and started looking into the franchise space. After a ton of research, I found the eyelash space and decided to jump head first into that business and create something I could be proud of.
FWM: What led you to the franchise business?
I originally wanted to open a gym but could not find one that resonated with all of my goals. Someone recommended I look at the eyelash space and after doing more research I felt that could really be an amazing business to get into. Amazing Lash Studio is a membership-based business offering eyelash extensions, lash lifts, brow laminations and facial waxing. We offer individual studio rooms for a high-end spa feel surrounded by beautiful Crystal chandeliers. We strive to make individuals of all ages feel beautiful.
FWM: Is owning a franchise business the key to financial freedom?
I am a huge supporter of the franchise industry. 80% of small businesses fail in the first two years and by owning a franchise that risk drops drastically. You have the ongoing support for every aspect of your business from the corporate team to ensure you are successful.

I can help with all of their questions and concerns and even help get them financing if that’s the way they are wanting to go.
FWM: What lessons have you learned as a franchise owner?
I have learned the ins and outs of owning a small business and managing a team. There are so many pieces to being successful that I know I could not have done without the backing and support of my franchise team.
FWM: Can you share trends?
There has been a huge increase in home-based franchises with less overhead and staffing needs.
FWM: What has been your great accomplishment?
I have fought through every obstacle with covid and still came out stead. I am proud of the business I have grown and the team I have developed.
