Share your story and how it led you to act.
I never planned to become an Actor. I have always loved modeling and I got offered a gig as a background through that, I accidentally found my purpose in life.
What roles and genres interest you?
I love Viola Davis and I would love to play a similar role because I am naturally strong smart and sexy as well. Drama and action are my favorite however horror has been a lot of fun. I have gotten to portray a variety of characters.
When was your first break?
I got my first speaking role from Laguna Films in an ultra low budget Horror.
You are an Actor and Producer of “The Other Side of Paradise.” Tell us about your film.
Our film The Other Side Of Paradise is based on a true story of a woman’s struggles with addiction, powerful men and life on the streets. We are currently in development and are always looking for investors and talent to join our team. Our purpose with this film is to raise awareness about the dangers of opioids and to help fund programs that address addiction, mental illness, and homelessness …STARTING WITH OUR VETS!!
We have developed a plan to build mini-communities with wrap-around services on site that are trained to address addiction mental health PTSD etc… We believe that in America there should be no Service Member living on the streets in poverty. If we are ok to send these boys and girls to fight for our freedom we better be prepared to heal them when they come home.
We are currently looking for investors and talent to join in our effort, we have great opportunities for Producers not only for profits but to be a part of our legacy. Our script has been in many of the top agencies in Hollywood and is being very well received. The Other Side Of Paradise has had submissions from some very well known talent which we will keep secret for now. The one thing everyone knows about Hollywood is that It’s all about timing and the time is now for this film !!
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I don’t think many people know that I am a rather shy person and it took me a long time to be confident.
You are a champion for causes. Share a few of your stories.
I have had many loved ones affected by addiction, I feel like its a community disease as it hurts the entire community. I also have a huge respect for the forces. I know the many sacrifices our troops and families make for our freedom. I am very blessed to be leading a team of talented filmmakers in the effort to help vets with addictions.
You are the Co-Owner of Break the Chain Films with John Vella. Why did you launch it?
WE launched Break The Chain Films Inc. for the purpose of breaking the chain of addiction through our film The Other Side Of Paradise.
What will Directors notice first about you?
Most Directors notice that I am very easy going and low maintenance in a high maintenance industry! I know they like to have me on set because I am directable. I can play any part but I love to play a very strong smart woman, think Sharon Stone. I do not like playing a victim, weak is just not for me.
Share your upcoming projects in 2020.
We are currently in pre-production of our feature film The Other Side Of Paradise. My partner John Vella’s Cemetery Stories is in the final stages of editing, I don’t want to say for sure when it will be released, but don’t be surprised if it’s out this year.
What are your goals in 2020?
Personally, I think I need to take a step back and have a little more me time, this is a very hard thing to achieve when you are in pre- production of a large film. Professionally I intend to finish our film, then start pre-production of our next project. I also plan to move to Atlanta now that we have incorporated into the USA.
