FWM: When did you discover the love for the Arts?
When I was 7, I wanted to take ballet but instead, my mom gave me piano lessons. Other than playing the piano I would listen to music and create movies in my head through the lyrics of the songs. I began writing poetry at a young age. It was always my way of expression. In my later years when I was on my first movie set, I felt that was where I belonged.
FWM: How closely in line are Arts and the emotions within your soul?
I feel everything around me is art. Every piece of art I create comes completely from my deep emotions.
FWM: When did you discover photography?
I started photographing in college. When I looked through the lens and saw the colors, textures, shapes, and forms so closely I wanted to explore the beauty of every detail around me. I photograph for magazines, headshots, private parties and I make a line of greeting cards, however, I find my deepest passion is when I create my photos into Art.
FWM: What is unique about your photography?
What is unique about my photography is that I start with a photograph and then create colors of my mood within my photos.
FWM: Tell us about your collections.
My first collection is my horse collection called “Colour my World”. I started photographing horses for the love of the sport, Polo. The majestic horse free spirit, fearless, strength, dignity, and loyalty represents the way I stand as well as the beauty in life. My other series of fine arts is my mannequin Collection, “As my World standstill,” the stillness I wanted to capture my deep thoughts at that moment. My signature piece the “Escape Artist” which I call myself when I create my art, acting and my writings on my memoirs on the passions of Love.
FWM: Share your acting career with us.
I have been independent films and appeared off-Broadway. In my films, each role brings a different side of me. In the future, I would like to play a very dramatic role. Currently, I am working on two projects that I am writing and looking to make two short films that will touch hearts. I will play the role of Dona Rosella, the widow of my beloved Paulie in the off-Broadway Dinner Theater, “Murdered by the Mob.” There will be many different emotions as well as my love of interacting with the audience. I have more projects I will be appearing in the future.
FWM: Does your personality show in your art?
My personality is definitely in my art. When people see my pieces I want them to be touched in their souls as they are in mine and create a style that will always be remembered.
FWM: How important is giving back?
Giving back to humanity and animals are very important to me and to have peace around the World. Some people and animals are less fortunate. I believe we can’t take anything
for granted so any charity work I am always there to help. Being kind and giving a smile goes a long way. Also, there are so many issues that need to be addressed and through my Acting and Art, my biggest accomplishment will be to touch a heart or change a life.
