FWM: You are a serial entrepreneur with social impact. Tell us about your initiatives.

Yes, I am a career professional turned serial entrepreneur with social impact. I saw my career in corporate America as a true call to service so I pride myself in gaining detailed knowledge that opened my eyes to countless possibilities. Our social impact activities stem from my passion for financial literacy and my fear of public speaking turning to my passion. We focus on Personal Development, Entrepreneurial Development, and Economic empowerment with pertinent emphasis on Financial Literacy. Our business model focuses on the following UN SDG goals 3,4,5,8,9 & 10.

FWM: You excelled in corporate America. Share the pivotal moment that led you to transition to entrepreneurship.

My corporate America journey was a huge success, starting as a teller with an MBA and climbing to the pinnacle of my career as a Vice President in the top five best ranking financial institution in America was no small feat for a person like me with four strikes namely BLACK-FEMALE-NIGERIAN-ACCENT. I was so privileged to work in various banking sectors as I rose in ranks within the Financial institution I worked for, such areas as retail banking, premier banking, business banking, and mortgage banking. My youthful curiosity and hard work with my faith saw me through several mergers and acquisitions and high-level community engagements. Through my diverse exposure and service to various target audiences with superb client relationship ethics, the entrepreneur in me was born so I could use my talents, gifts, and time to serve.

FWM: You are a Les Brown Platinum Speaker, and author of the book titled, “Perseverance the winning key to your destiny.” Tell us about your book.

Yes, the great Les Brown is one of my mentors that helped me conquer the fear of public speaking. I was in his the 2year intensive program where we received world-class intensive coaching to become platinum speakers, this is one of life long investment that helps build my personal development interest as I knew I could help more people to break the fear of communication so they can find their voice as their power as leaders.

My book, “Perseverance the winning key to your destiny,” is a synopsis of how I overcame the intentional and unintentional obstacles placed before me at different stages of my life and through perseverance, I was enabled as an ordinary person to do extraordinary things through my hard work and faith, I have enjoyed countless blessings professionally and personally.

FWM: How are you helping others to maximize their potential?

My life purpose is to position and help people I come in contact with understanding my life story and use that as a way to encourage not to get stuck. My company has designed various coaching programs to meet various needs of career professionals and entrepreneurs with a focus on Leadership, Communication, and Networking.

Share advice for young women on the importance of investing in human capital and personal development. Despite my impressive corporate experience, I made it my business to invest in coaching and networks that helped me accelerate my career moves. I strongly encourage young women to have a brand identity, develop a positive mindset, Embrace themselves, Position themselves in various networks where they can learn, and have a blast simultaneously.
