Founder, Ashley Sutton was born-and-raised in Texas. She has worked at some of the world’s top Fortune 500 companies. One cozy NYC night, she was flipping through her old “idea” book from college , where she had written down dreams of starting a line of stationery products.-The rest is history.
FWM: Tell us about Hustle & Hope. What led you to start your company?
I’m smiling ear to ear! Hustle & Hope is bringing some much-needed inspiration & motivation right now. I wanted to channel my own corporate career experiences (over a decade of experience in the beauty, toy, licensing, publishing industries) to remind everyone that with a little bit of HUSTLE & Hope; a little bit of HOPE, dreams become reality! A longtime lover of stationery, I had a dream to create a company that helped people feel empowered & fired up. Then, HUSTLE & HOPE Greeting Cards was born. Why not sell cool greeting cards and help people?
FWM: How have you redefined “The Hustle?”
I think I have learned how to redefine the hustle by launching a dream come true in the middle of a pandemic (we launched at the height of the pandemic), in addition to balancing a full-time job. The most important thing I did, was to just keep going. No matter what setbacks arose, I persisted. Major determination, discipline, and passion.
FWM: How are Hustle & Hope greeting cards unlocking the possibilities?

FWM: Is there a bit of Ashley Sutton’s personality in these cards?
Absolutely! My friends have often called me a “woman on the move”, and I’m a go-to gal for advice in the career and professional arena. Naturally, the Hustle & Hope greeting cards are motivational, and the free guides that come with them are real-talk and provide actionable help (not just lip service).
FWM: In addition to greeting cards, you offer t-shirts, mugs, and other merchandise. What are some of the favorites?
Okay, so my fave items in the line are the ‘Hustle & Hope black sweatshirt’, the ‘Internal Hustle’ cropped blue sweatshirt, and the ‘Internal Hustle’ t-shirt. These are perfect gifts for the holiday, because it’s getting a little chilly outside, and the fabric is so cozy, with the added bonus of a little motivational reminder to keep that hustle and that hope going this holiday season!
FWM: Empowering and inspiring are themes throughout Hustle & Hope. What is your ultimate goal for your company?
The ultimate goal is to reach as many people as we can and inspire them to take charge of their careers and entrepreneurial endeavors, and truly get what they want out of life. We’re definitely in it for the long haul!
