FWM: Tell us about the world-class summit that was held on Nov. 5th and 6th.
We are on a mission to bridge the gap between African businesses and international investors and also to help investors gain access to opportunities in nations where we have partners. Also, we build a platform and network of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors that will serve as a bridge between opportunities in Africa and foreign investors for the purpose of economic growth not just for Africa but for the world. We have partners in different continents of the world and we want to connect businesses and investors to opportunities these partnerships could bring.
FWM: How was the summit a catalyst for action?
It was not just a two days summit it is a network where the dialogue continues and most importantly, relationships and partnerships are being established. The Legacy Global Network is an organized chain created to be a go-to place to meet people and opportunities. There will be sharing and learning about the opportunities waiting to be harnessed.
FWM: How did the summit give the opportunity to learn how best to leverage the rich resources and human ingenuity of Africa?
Two words. Relationships and Access.
Through the summit, we want to build an ecosystem of sustainable partnerships with business leaders, donor agencies, the private sector, governments, investors around the world who have the keys to the resources that can influence change and create channels of lasting business opportunities for African businesses.
