FWM: Jessica, thank you so much for this interview. Please introduce yourself and your business.
JM: My name is Jessica Mosley. I am the Steward Owner of The MizCEO Entrepreneurial Media Brand. My brand is a full-service media branding house. From publishing, public relations, radio/podcasts, and also helping one become a Certified Life or Business Coach through our fully accredited school.
FWM: What drew you to the media industry?
JM: I’ve always had the gift of gabs since I was a little girl. I always loved listening to the radio. Who knew one day I would actually own my own radio/podcast network?!
FWM: How are you using your business to empower women and your community?
JM: Oh my goodness! I’m a strong advocate for women empowerment. I believe in collaboration over competition. I also believe in sisterhood. That’s why giving back to battered women shelters and transitional housing for women is so important to me.
FWM: Tell us about your MizCeo Brand.
JM: The MizCEO Entrepreneurial Media Brand was created by a female entrepreneurial woman for the female entrepreneurial woman.
FWM: What is the one piece of advice that drove you to achieve your dreams?
JM: My Mother always taught me that there is nothing that I can’t do if I put my mind to it. I believe that hard work + dedication = success.
FWM: Do you have any upcoming events?
JM: Yes. I have the MizCEO Entrepreneurial Gathering which is happening this month and some very exciting things happening in 2020!!!
FWM: What advice would you give your younger self growing up as a woman today?
JM: REEEEEEELAXXXXXX! And I would tell her, “Jessica, YOU are good enough!”
FWM: Do you feel that there will be an increase of women in media in years to come?
JM: Absolutely! Especially for women of color! The digital world has made it even easier for people to create their own!
FWM: How can our readers connect with you outside of this interview?
JM: I can be connected through my website, www.mizceo.com, on IG: @iammizceo and on Facebook: Jessica Mosley.
