Molly Dare Hillenbrand, Executive Producer of “The Social Movement”

Molly Dare Hillenbrand is the Executive Producer of the groundbreaking Docuseries, “The Social Movement.” With a passion for showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit for good, she has joined up with Creator, Chris Lavoie, to create a series that awakens the human potential, allowing you to problem solve some of the world’s biggest issues by combining your own individual genius with others from all over the world.

FWM: How have your sharp PR skills led you to become the Executive Producer, “The Social Movement?”

My passion has always been to highlight people and their genius. Through hillenBRAND Media I took on clients that needed more exposure or the social media training to step in front of the camera. Coaching someone to feel comfortable sharing their story and their passion has been incredibly rewarding. I used those interview and production skills to focus on one person or Company in a very compact way with edited interviews/segments which would air on our social media channels.

Red Knight Studios Company has allowed me to use those skills to produce on a much larger and grander scale with our Flagship Series, ‘The Social Movement’ other Series is currently in production, but with the same intention – to share people’s story and vision in a real authentic way to inspire others that they are capable of doing the same and that every single person has a genius and the ability to create something amazing and beneficial in this World.

The premise of the Series is to bring Entrepreneurs, Business Owners, Thought Leaders, and Investors from all over the world together for 4 Days. During these 4 days, they are documented as they are divided into teams to each solve a current global/social issue. We then watch with fascination as these creative minds of all different ages, cultures, and backgrounds develop an actionable business plan to solve this issue. It is inspiring, moving, heartwarming, and powerful to watch it all unfold in front of your eyes.

“The Social Movement” brings people from all over the world together to show how they CAN work together successfully to solve social issues. How is your new show breaking barriers and inspiring the next generation of thought leaders?

This groundbreaking Series is truly the first of its kind and the most important Series of our time. We all are hearing everyone talk about coming together in a powerful way…but where do we see this actually happening on a large scale and in a productive way? Where can we watch and be inspired by everyone coming together with the same goal: to make the world a better place?! If there ever was a time to create a Series that ignites the entrepreneurial spirit for good it is right now. We are lucky that the show’s Creator, Chris Lavoie, had this vision years ago and we had already put it into action with Season 1 because he saw that people were hungry for shows that make people actually feel something, that was inclusive and that was family-friendly.

FWM: What excites you the most about your new show?

I am so excited to inspire people of ALL ages. To show them that the impossible is actually possible. We are creating a Series that you can watch with your family that will inspire every single person in that household because I guarantee there will be someone on that screen that looks like you, talks like you and who overcame something similar to what you have in your lifetime or will at some point experience. The true change in this world starts in our own homes and I am excited that this Series will allow the difficult conversations to be shown in a powerful respectful way and the World will watch how those of different backgrounds and mindsets can come together successfully to problem solve and how much more powerful it is to work as a team than on your own. How exciting to have that conversation in your own home and to have your children watch in awe and think to themselves “if they can do that, so can I!”

FWM: It is called, “The Social Movement.” How will this movement impact the world?

We are creating a Movement of inspiration to open your minds and your hearts and to really LISTEN to other’s opinions, stories, and experiences. We can only accomplish so much on our own, but together we can do so much. We all are born dreamers and think anything is possible. Somehow along the way we get told that things can’t be done, or that something we are dreaming about isn’t possible. Why is that? What if you surround yourself with people that told you anything is possible and I’m going to help you get there! Imagine what would be accomplished if no one made you feel small or that you had to fit into a certain box based only on what has been done in the past and not on what COULD be. We believe that if we can develop a business model that is self-funding and provides solutions for the incredibly serious issues of our time and by design, requires people from all different countries, cultures, ages, and races to work together to get it done, it would be an incredibly beautiful and powerful moment to witness. I think the impact of this kind of experience is contagious and I hope it spreads Season to Season as it grows into something much bigger than even we can anticipate.

FWM: Share your philosophy on the entertainment business and social responsibility.

I think in ANY business, Entertainment or otherwise, it is your duty to give back. If you have any measure of success in what you are doing and how wonderful it is to use your voice and your platform to inspire social responsibility. Nowadays, the world is looking for inspiration and positivity now more than ever. We want REAL stories of REAL people doing good in this world. We have been oversaturated with decades of mindless television that stirs up zero emotion or positive role models. How amazing is it to have a series that inspires children and adults to look up to people for what they create, what they overcome, and how they work together rather than the materialistic showcase that seems to be dominating most shows right now.

FWM: There is an increase of women taking leading roles in the Entertainment Industry, an industry which was once dominated by men is now seeing more and more male studio heads and executives replaced with powerful women! How are you making an impact?

There has been a noticeable shift within the past few years of women taking the executive positions that once were held by men and I think it has brought a fresh perspective to not only the Film Studios at large but the Productions themselves.

I am incredibly lucky that the Red Knight Studios Company Founders, Chris Lavoie & Kevin Kempf, are two of the most encouraging and uplifting men I’ve ever worked with who not only speak of the power of women but show it in their actions. They have placed me in a top leadership position that allows me freedom of my own creativity and leadership within the Studio.

The Entertainment Industry is not for the faint of heart. I have worn many hats and juggled various roles as we have grown this Studio from just a handful of us to now various departments and still growing. It is not all glamorous, it is ‘roll up the sleeves’ and ‘just get it done’ kind of work. Long days filled with endless pivots and shifts as you work on the Creative and demanding schedules due to our incredibly fast rate of growth and the vision we have for our Company and Television Network for this next year. I think many men are recognizing, as more and more women take leadership roles, that a woman has a natural ability to juggle many different tasks with ease while knowing what to prioritize and what can wait. I do it in my everyday life as a single mom and I do it in my leadership role within the studio as well. To be acknowledged as an equal is important to me – to be seen, heard, and prioritized means everything to anyone regardless of gender. I think the more my two girls and all children see women in powerful leadership roles of any kind the more they will aspire to be in those same shoes themselves. I did not get to where I am because I am a woman – I got to where I am because of my skill set, hard work, and determination that were recognized by the company. For so long women were told not to come off “too strong” or not be “too demanding” all the things that were admired about men in leadership roles. I believe that a woman can be both – tender but fierce, powerful yet feminine, demanding yet empathetic – to me, the ability to balance both is what makes a true leader.

FWM: Season 1 is airing on Earth Day 2021. What should we expect?

We, like many other Studios, have had to delay some of our Series due to filming guidelines, The Social Movement will now be airing next Spring on Earth Day on Amazon Prime and other Streaming networks! We are so excited for the World to see what we have been working so hard on over this past year and we hope that it inspires everyone that the impossible is actually possible and that if we can do it anyone can do it. What the world needs is more Series that highlights the positive in humanity and the kindness that is being shown all over and hold on to that and let it push you into spreading it within your own Communities.

FWM: What surprised you the most about Season 1?

Season 1 was our Pilot Season – 40 people brought together to prove if this concept could work which it did. But what surprised me is not only how much it worked, but the effect that it had on each person that was there to experience it. To say that we were all moved and inspired by what we were able to create and solve is underselling it. There was an actual tangible Movement happening within those 4 days. Those teams saw what happened when you focus on using your gifts for something positive and I can’t think of one person who left there who didn’t want to hold on to that fire and spread it to those around them from that moment on.

FWM: Season 2 is filming in October. How can people be considered for the show? What is different about Season 2?

Season 2 is a larger group of participants and we have raised the bar quite a bit for this Season. I can’t give too much away but everything is on a grander aspect scale – the people, the locations, the experience – it’s going to be mind blowing! We tackle some of the really tough issues in both Seasons – ranging from Cyberbullying, Pandemics, Mental Health, Racism, Education, Women Empowerment, etc….with all the issues going on in this world it’s tough to knock them out in one Season so you’ll have to keep staying tuned as we tackle them all Season after Season. This is a Movement and we hope you all join us not only as a Viewer but that it inspires you to join us as well. To check out our Series (and many others) you can visit us at  www.redknight.tv

Kevin Kempf (Co-Founder of Red Knight Studios Company) “Women are innately gifted with intelligence and candor while also demonstrating high levels of empathy. These qualities are necessary for leadership. The world is slowly playing catch-up to the skills of a woman. I’m a man who’s benefitted from operating in a world built by men for men. For this, I am passionate about building a business with women for women.”

Chris Lavoie, ( Co-Founder of Red Knight Studios Company, Creator of ‘The Social Movement’ Series)  “Women have always deserved a seat at the table. We are proud to have 50% women as leaders of our studio and television network.”
