FWM: You are the highest-paid woman to play professional football. As a professional athlete, why football?
I was chosen by the owner of the league based on my athletic abilities.
FWM: How long have you been running after your dream?
My entire life, I was preparing myself for this moment and didn’t even know it.
FWM: What does your team look like?
I have two amazing assistants, Dana and JQ, My manager is my mom, Cynthia Robles, and I have a great graphic designer, Roy Elliot, brand manager, Alicia Brownell, and videographer, Zack! My mom is my biggest supporter on every level!
FWM: Tell us about your shoe line, book, and other products.
My shoe company is called Tronus, it is an athletic shoe. My book is called “ The struggle” which I wrote at 15 years old and it is about child abuse.
Is the world our oyster? What has been the best piece of advice that you have received? Yes! Absolutely! The best advice I was given is if I wanted something, I had to go get it! No excuses!
FWM: How are you using your platform for good?
I motivate and inspire others to chase their dreams. I let people know I’m a child of God and I’m not afraid to speak on it.
FWM: You are a role model to many. Where have you drawn your greatest strength from?
Definitely God of course but also my family. I’ve always had a great support system.
FWM: What does the future look like for you?
I want to be a mogul! I want to show the world that women can be moguls as well.
